- Is stamped concrete more expensive than a plain pour?
- It costs more than a standard broom finish because of the extra labor and materials, but it's still generally less expensive than natural stone or pavers covering the same area.
- How long does stamped or stained concrete last?
- With periodic resealing, a stamped or stained finish can last as long as the concrete underneath. We'll go over a basic maintenance schedule when the job is finished.
- Can you match a stain color to my house or existing stonework?
- Yes. We review color samples with you before the pour and can lean toward earth tones that complement Hill Country stone or a specific color you have in mind.
- Can decorative concrete be added to an existing slab?
- Staining can sometimes be applied to sound existing concrete. Stamped patterns require a fresh pour, so that typically means removing and replacing the existing slab.
